Short answer: this is a content site. You can't create an account, we don't run advertising trackers, and we don't sell data. We collect cookieless visit statistics, Google Analytics data only if you allow it, an anonymous record of clicks on affiliate links, and whatever you choose to send us by email.
Who is responsible
This site is published by Cashout Clarity. Cashout Clarity decides how the information described here is used. For any privacy question or request, email [email protected].
What we collect and why
1. Visit statistics (no cookies)
We count visits with Plausible Analytics, an open-source, privacy-focused tool that we run on our own server. For each page view it records aggregate information such as:
- which page was viewed (the address without any query string);
- the referring website, reduced to its domain (for example
google.com); - browser, operating system and device type;
- country, derived from the IP address at the time of the visit.
Plausible sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. It does not keep your IP address: it is used only to create a daily visitor count that cannot be traced back to you and is discarded after 24 hours. It also records a few named actions without any personal data: how far a page was scrolled, clicks on the table of contents, related guides and links to official sources, and use of the wagering calculator.
2. Google Analytics (only if you allow it)
If you choose Allow in the analytics notice, we also load Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager. It helps us see which guides people read to the end and which they leave. With your consent it sets the cookies _ga and _ga_XXXXXXX for up to 180 days. Google signals, advertising features and ad personalisation are switched off, and we send only the page address without query strings.
If you choose Decline, or make no choice, Google Analytics and Tag Manager are not loaded at all. You can change your mind at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page; declining deletes the Google Analytics cookies on this site.
3. Affiliate click log
When you click an affiliate link (an address beginning /go/), our server records:
| Field | What it is |
|---|---|
click_id | A random identifier created for that click |
page | The page the link was on |
offer_id | Which offer the link was for |
timestamp | When the click happened |
The log contains no personal data: no name, no email address, no IP address, no device identifier and no cookie. We pass the click_id to the affiliate program so it can tell us which page a sign-up came from and pay any commission due. We can't use it to identify you.
Once you leave our site, the casino and its affiliate program handle your data under their own privacy policies. Read them before you open an account.
4. Server and security logs
Our hosting provider, Railway, and our DNS and security provider, Cloudflare, may process technical data such as IP addresses in server logs so that it can deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. We don't use these logs to identify visitors.
5. Emails you send us
If you email us, we receive your email address and anything you include. We use it only to reply and to act on your message, such as making a correction.
What we don't do
- No user accounts, logins or newsletters.
- No advertising or retargeting cookies, and no tracking pixels from ad networks.
- No Google Analytics unless you allow it.
- No sale, rental or trading of personal data.
- No combining of the click log with any other data to identify people.
Cookies
| Cookie | Set by | When | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Google Analytics | Only after you choose Allow | Tells visits by the same browser apart | Up to 180 days |
_ga_XXXXXXX | Google Analytics | Only after you choose Allow | Keeps the session state for this site | Up to 180 days |
Your choice itself is saved in your browser's local storage under cc.analytics-consent for 180 days, so the notice doesn't reappear on every page. Plausible sets no cookies.
Legal basis
Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on our legitimate interest in running, measuring and securing the site (cookieless visit statistics, click log, server logs), on your consent for Google Analytics, and on your request when you email us.
How long we keep it
- Visit statistics: kept in aggregate form, which does not identify anyone.
- Google Analytics: event data is kept for 14 months, then deleted by Google.
- Affiliate click log: 24 months, so that commissions can be reconciled with affiliate programs.
- Emails: up to 24 months, or sooner if you ask us to delete them.
Who we share it with
- Railway (hosting) and Cloudflare (DNS and security), which process data for us to run the site.
- Google, for Google Analytics, only if you allow it.
- Affiliate programs, which receive the
click_idonly. - Authorities, if the law requires it.
Some of these providers may process data outside your country. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards the law requires.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to how it is used. Email [email protected]. Because the click log and analytics don't identify you, there is usually nothing in them we can link to you. You can also complain to the data protection authority in your country.
Children
This site is for adults. It is not aimed at anyone under the legal gambling age where they live, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we change what we collect, we will update this page and its date before the change takes effect.
