Short answer: a fast withdrawal casino in Ontario is, first, one on iGaming Ontario's list of regulated sites — the only place where Ontario's payout rules apply. Those rules require the operator to verify you, pay only to an account in your name, show every fee up front and pay "as soon as is practicable". They don't set a number of days, so speed comes down to the operator's process and the payment method. This page explains how that works and how to check a site.
Step one: is the site on the list?
Ontario's regulated market has one test: an operator must hold a registration from the AGCO and (except OLG.ca) an operating agreement with iGaming Ontario. iGaming Ontario publishes a directory of every regulated site. On 14 October 2026 it showed 49 operators and 84 gaming websites, "accurate as of 2026-09-01", and it's updated each time a new site goes live.
Regulated sites display the iGaming Ontario and BetGuard logos, and the AGCO tells players to look for the logo and check the list. A logo is easy to copy, so the list is the check that counts. Players must be 19 or older and physically in Ontario to play.
At a site that isn't on the list, iGaming Ontario warns that payouts could be delayed or not paid at all, and that there's no guarantee deposits are securely stored. Neither iGaming Ontario nor the AGCO can help with a dispute there.
What the AGCO rules say about payouts
The AGCO's Registrar's Standards for Internet Gaming set the floor for every regulated operator:
| Standard | What it requires |
|---|---|
| 5.70 | Withdrawals only after verification — made by a holder of the account, to an account of which the player is a legal holder |
| 5.71 | Paid "as soon as is practicable, subject to appropriate authorization and verification" |
| 5.73 | Player funds subject to oversight by iGaming Ontario and available to players |
| 5.74 | No credit or lending to players |
| 5.77 | Unambiguous information on all account fees before a deposit or withdrawal |
| 5.78 | Clear rules and restrictions on deposits and withdrawals |
| 5.69 | Cryptocurrency shall not be accepted |
Notice what's missing: no fixed timeframe. Any "same day" or "within 24 hours" you read is the operator's stated time, not a regulatory guarantee.
- 01RequestYou ask to withdraw. A pending or reversal window may apply.
- 02Approval & KYCThe casino reviews the request and may ask for ID.
- 03ProcessingThe casino sends the money through your method.
- 04DeliveryThe method delivers it to your account or wallet.
What slows a withdrawal down
Every regulated withdrawal passes through the four stages above. The first two stages are the casino's own checks:
- Verification. Standard 5.70 makes it mandatory before money leaves. If your ID or address check isn't finished, the payout waits.
- Account name mismatch. The receiving account must be one you legally hold. A partner's card or any account in someone else's name can stop the payment.
- Method rules. The withdrawal list can differ from the deposit list. Your bank's own limits also apply — for Interac e-Transfer, each financial institution sets its own.
- Bonus terms. Terms can restrict withdrawals until bonus conditions are met — check before you accept one. Ontario bans public advertising of bonuses, so the full terms sit on the operator's own site; read them there.
Checklist for a faster first withdrawal
- Confirm the site is on iGaming Ontario's list before you deposit.
- Complete identity verification straight after you open the account.
- Deposit and withdraw with a method in your own name.
- Read the withdrawal page for minimums, maximums, fees and the stated processing time.
- Check whether any bonus you accepted restricts withdrawals.
- Keep the confirmation and any complaint reference number.
If a withdrawal is late
- Check the terms for the stated time and rules.
- Complain to the operator through its formal process and get a reference number. The AGCO says the site may take up to 90 days to decide.
- Escalate to iGaming Ontario's Player Support if you get no answer or an answer you're unhappy with. You'll need the site name, your player ID and the reference number.
- Know the limits. iGaming Ontario says it cannot settle bets, refund wagers or award compensation, and the AGCO says it can't get your money back. The AGCO can investigate whether rules were broken and issue penalties.

The table lists only sites we've matched to iGaming Ontario's directory. Values are operator-stated, from the cashier or terms page, with a link and check date; "Not stated" means the operator doesn't publish it. Times are stated times — we haven't run payout tests. Under AGCO Standard 1.21, marketing affiliates advertising for the Ontario market must not also advertise sites operating in Ontario without AGCO registration.

Ontario withdrawals: Canadian FAQ
How fast must an Ontario online casino pay a withdrawal?
The AGCO's Registrar's Standards for Internet Gaming don't set a number of days. Standard 5.71 says withdrawals must be made 'as soon as is practicable, subject to appropriate authorization and verification'. Any specific time you see is the operator's own stated time.
Can a regulated Ontario casino pay my winnings to someone else's account?
No. Standard 5.70 requires the operator to verify that the withdrawal is made by a holder of the account and goes to an account of which the player is a legal holder.
My withdrawal is stuck. Who do I complain to?
First the operator, through its formal complaints process — you should get a complaint reference number, and the AGCO says a site may take up to 90 days to decide. If that fails, iGaming Ontario's Player Support reviews unresolved disputes, but it says it cannot settle bets, refund wagers or award compensation. The AGCO also can't get your money back.
Can I withdraw in crypto at an Ontario casino?
No. The Registrar's Standards say cryptocurrency is not legal tender and shall not be accepted.
